The eco friendly frames are made from 100% bio-degradable Italian Mazzucchelli M49 Bio-Acetate made from organic compounds of wood and cotton pulp fibres. This premium organic M49 bio-acetate is built to last forever as sunglasses but is also 100% bio-degradable under controlled industrial composting conditions of International standard ISO 14855. 100% Handmade in Italy.

Bio Acetate
When you think about plastic, in this period, you immediately think of something negative, both for the starting materials and for the problem of disposal. But what if we told you that M49 is not plastic as this term is generally understood? As a matter of fact, M49 is composed of cellulose acetate and a plasticizer of vegetable origin. The resulting formula is mostly composed of materials from renewable sources.
Stainless Steel hinges with rivets to ensure the best durability.
